This month, onion & tomato uttapam has been my go-to meal when I’m short on time.
This is a dish I’ve loved since childhood. My mother used to make it often. And back in the summer of 2018, when I was doing a 6-month architecture internship in Delhi, I would have this for lunch 3 out of 5 days in the week.
Earlier this month, after having an onion uttapam at Tanjore Tiffins, I realized that I needed to make this at home. Despite being a favourite, I had somehow never made it myself previously.
